The group set up its first manufacturing unit in 1989 and opened its 2nd world class industrial manufacturing unit in 2005. With offices in Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi, the group operates over the entire Indian subcontinent providing its products and services since the last 40 years.

2020

Set up its manufacturing facility for producing goods under the 24 Energy banner with complete backward integration. Completes its first residential project located in Bangalore of 400 flats.

2014

Starts Export of Batteries for Australian and New Zealand Railway. In the same year darts business in Russia for traction cells.Also Launch the 24 Energy brand for various home appliances under which the company introduces torches, lights, fans, emergency light, mosquito Swatter Etc.

2012

Moves to its new 1,00,000 sq ft mega manufacturing set up exclusively made for manufacturing of various types of lead acid battery. Launches inverter batteries under the brand Sankalp. Ventures into batteries for traction utility.

2000

Sigma becomes market leader in the north east, assam, bihar, odisha in 6V VRLA products also develops long warranty gel based VRLA Batteries to be introduced in india for the first time in 6v product category.Sigma ventures into production and sale of other emergency lighting products.

1989

Our first manufacturing Setup under GN Enterprises in Kanakapura, Bengaluru to manufacture class leading VRLA Batteries with the aim of making India technologically self-reliant. Sigma group of companies soon ventures into the business of emergency lights and other power backup products for India which needs relief from consistent power cuts.
